This album is an exceptional collection of 11 tracks that contain Christian hymns reimagined by contemporary composers combined with excerpts of Pope Francis’ speeches directly from Radio Vaticana Sound Archives.
Pope Francis speaks in 4 different Languages, delivering excerpts of 11 of the most significant speeches of his papalcy including the now famous exhortation ‘Asians youth, wake up!’ from his visit to Korea in 2014 which gives album its title. Indeed, Francis wants us to open our eyes and "not giving up in asking ourselves questions about purposes and meanings of everything".
The Album comes with a 24 page booklet that includes prayers, lyrics and excerpts of the speeches by the Pontiff included in the Album in the original Language as pronounced by the Holy Father, with translations in English and Spanish. Part of the proceeds from the sales of the Album will be donated to a support Fund for the refugees.
