This book tells the story of the 14 billion-year-old Universe as a story of God reaching out to us to be known. It introduces the biblical tradition as yet another way God reaches out through particular people and their history, leading up to the time of Jesus. The book brings together current science, which speaks of an evolutionary and expanding universe, and the way the Bible reflects on the meaning of this universe.
Written for 10- to 14-year-olds, Two Hands of God will also be very helpful for teachers and parents. It has an Imprimatur from the Melbourne Archdiocese and would therefore be an excellent support for Catholic Religious Education programs across Australia.
