The Act of Contrition is a traditional Catholic prayer that we pray during the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation. We are also invited to pray this prayer every day as part of our prayer life. As in traditional long form, this adapted version allows us to acknowledge our sins, ask God for forgiveness, and express our desire to repent.
