LOOK INSIDE

Baptism is not just an event that happened in the past, but is the identity we are immersed in as followers of Jesus. This volume helps disciples reflect on this identity in ways that take seriously some of the central questions of contemporary life, as well as themes from our spiritual traditions. Explore three New Testament passages to contemplate what it means to be alive in God’s love, alive in Christian community, and alive in Christ’s death and resurrection.

Justin Huyck is pastoral associate and director of adult faith formation at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Canton, Ohio. Previously, he served communities in Albany, New York; Northbrook, Illinois; and Kingston, Ontario. Justin is a graduate of Cornell University and holds an MA in theology from the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. He and his wife are the parents of two children. He is the author of From Home to Home, Finding Meaning in Mobility from the Alive in the Word series

Alive in the Word invites you to explore Scripture in a way that is engaging and transformative. Each volume offers brief but powerful lessons that help you reflect on your own life and experience in relationship with the words, events and characters of the Bible. Prayer and action are full integrated. Browse through the titles under development in each of seven thematic topics.
