Cardinal Luis Antonio G. (Chito) Tagle, ia Archbishop of Manila and de facto primate of the Phillipines. Formerly the Bishop of the Diocese of Imus, Cardinal Tagle finished his theological and graduate studies at the Loyola School of Theology, Manila, and the Catholic University of America, Washington, DC. He was a member of the International Theological Commission of the Vatican and the Editorial Board of Storia del Concilio Vaticano II, Instituto per le scienze religiouse, Bologna. Cardinal Tagle currently serves as a member of the Presidential Committee of the Pontifical Council for the Family, the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Refugees, and the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. A popular speaker and preacher, he continues as a presenter on Catholic television programs in the Philippines.
