John Dear is a Jesuit priest, pastor, and peacemaker, who lives in northern New Mexico. He is the author/editor of twenty books, including Living Peace, Disarming the Heart, and most recently, Lazarus, Come Forth!
William Hart McNichols is a priest and iconographer who lives in Taos, New Mexico. His icons have also been been featured in Christ All Merciful and Mother of God, Similar to Fire. He has been described by Time magazine as “among the most famous creators of Christian iconic images in the world.”
