Conversation—especially within the family—is one of the best gifts we can give our children (and ourselves). Research has pointed out the immense importance of this simple act: parents talking with their children and teenagers about faith at home during the week. The parents’ personal religious beliefs matter; the frequency of participating in worship matters. But in terms of influence, talking about our journey of faith on a regular basis at home matters most.
This booklet is helpful not only during the years of preparation for the sacraments, but for all the time, since we not only celebrate Eucharist and reconciliation in the sacraments, we live Eucharist and reconciliation in our daily lives.
