St. Anthony was a 13th century member of the Franciscan Order, known for his rich knowledge of Church theology. But even more important was his incredible ability to explain the Faith so that anyone could understand even its deepest truths. He is often seen carrying the child Jesus, who appeared to Anthony, and is beloved as the patron saint of “lost things.”
