Each Tiny Saints has a short biographical sketch on the back of its packaging.
Biographical information on the back of the package:
In 1802, the tomb of a 4th century teenage girl was discovered with the inscription: Peace be with thee, Philomena. Young Philomena had refused the evil advances of Emperor Diocletian and was killed for it. He tried to have her killed by anchor drowning, then by archers, and then finally succeeded by lancing. Philomena is a patroness of purity.
